Potassium Silicate (K2SiO3)

Product Features and Benefits:

  • Silicon is one of the most important components of plant cell walls, where it deposits to strengthen the plant tissue and enhance the strength of the cells in the vegetative parts.

  • Potassium is an essential macronutrient for plant growth. Plants require significant amounts of it, as it plays a crucial role in carbohydrate formation, enzyme activation, and vital processes within the plant. It also aids in transporting sugars from the green leaves to the fruit, increasing sugar content and its even distribution in fruits, especially in grape clusters, which accelerates the timing of export.

  • When sprayed on the vegetative parts, this compound forms a film on the leaf surface, helping the plant resist heat stress and drought, making it more active during cold weather or frost. This enables the plant to absorb and utilize nutrients more efficiently, reduces water consumption by 10-15% through reduced transpiration, and protects the plant from insect and fungal attacks.

Application

  • Apply as a foliar spray at a rate of 5 ml per liter of water weekly throughout periods of low temperatures or high heat.
